Greg Seibly — Union Bank

THE LATEST: Seibly spent his first year with Union Bank in an almost entirely remote capacity, but under his leadership, the bank’s small business group successfully processed 100% of Paycheck Protection Program loan applications from small business clients on the West Coast in the first round — approximately 14,000 applications delivering $2.7 billion in loans. Seibly also championed a $10 million community relief program to address gaps in economic equity, including access to capital, entrepreneurship, job retention and retraining.
BACKGROUND: In early 2020, Seibly joined Union Bank from his previous role as CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco. Seibly has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry. At Union Bank, Seibly oversees commercial, real estate and consumer banking (including PurePoint Financial, an online direct bank), Intrepid Investment Bankers, wealth markets businesses, and social responsibility programs. Seibly is also a member of the bank’s Executive Committee for the Americas.
