Raul Anaya — Bank of America Corp.
President, Greater Los Angeles
THE LATEST:
In 2020, Anaya was named president of business banking for Bank of America, leading a nationwide division that serves nearly 40,000 U.S. mid-sized companies with annual revenues from $5 million to $50 million. Anaya, who is based in Los Angeles, is part of the executive management team that helps set the bank’s overall strategic direction. He is the first Latino to represent one of the eight major lines of business at Bank of America and is the highest-ranking Latino at the bank. He co-chairs its Hispanic-Latino Executive Council, a group of 200 of the company’s most senior Hispanic-Latino executives in the United States.
BACKGROUND:
Anaya, who began his banking career as a teller, oversees local corporate and social responsibility activities, including more than $10 million in philanthropic giving last year; community development lending and investing; and support for the bank’s 8,000 employees in the greater Los Angeles area. He also works to integrate Bank of America’s business lines so the bank can deliver a wider range of global financial services capabilities to more individuals and businesses locally.
