Troy Rudd — AECOM
Chief Executive
THE LATEST:
Rudd was serving as AECOM’s chief financial officer when he was named in June to succeed Michael Burke as the company’s chief executive. Rudd ascended to the CEO post in August and wasted little time putting his stamp on the company. He announced a major management restructuring in October, and in December he moved AECOM’s headquarters from Century City to the company’s downtown office. In September, construction wrapped up on AECOM’s highest-profile local project &emdash; the $5 billion stadium at Inglewood’s Hollywood Park.
BACKGROUND:
Rudd joined AECOM in 2009 and held a number of financial posts until 2014, when he was named chief operating officer of the company’s Americas Design and Consulting Services division. The following year, he became AECOM’s CFO. Prior to AECOM, Rudd spent 11 years at accounting giant KPMG. He obtained a BS from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and a master of science in taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
