Rob Curry — Emanate Health
Chief Executive and President
THE LATEST:
Emanate Health, which serves the San Gabriel Valley, was set to start late this spring on a $125 million project to expand its Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina and its Inter-Community Hospital in Covina. The Queen of the Valley expansion includes a 60-bed emergency department, a 24-bed intensive care unit and a 400-space parking garage. At Inter-Community, work is set to begin in June on a catheterization laboratory and a renovation of the front lobby area. In December, Queen of the Valley received certification as a Primary Plus Stroke Center for treatment of complex and serious strokes.
BACKGROUND:
Curry joined the Emanate Health system (previously known as Citrus Valley Medical Center) as chief executive in 2008 after serving as chief executive and president of O’Connor Hospital in San Jose. Previously, he held executive positions with hospital systems in Arizona, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Curry is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has been involved with several philanthropic organizations including the American Heart Association, the United Way and the YMCA.
