Brian Panish — Panish Shea & Boyle

THE LATEST:
In February, Panish won his client, a motorcyclist whose leg was partially amputated in a car crash, a $23.7 million reward in L.A. County’s first in-person personal injury trial in nearly a year. He also helped secure a $39.5 million settlement for a university student who sustained a brain injury from heat stroke during a physical education class. Panish was named one of the 2021 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America.
BACKGROUND:
Panish is a high-profile personal injury lawyer who co-founded Panish Shea & Boyle in 2005. His victories include more than 500 verdicts and settlements over $1 million, more than 100 verdicts and settlements in excess of $10 million, six verdicts in excess of $50 million, and a verdict of $4.9 billion in the high-profile products liability case Anderson v. General Motors (the verdict was later reduced to $1.2 billion). He obtained his BS from Fresno State and a JD from Southwestern School of Law.
