THE LATEST: In February, Vanzura won a complete dismissal of a multimillion-dollar federal securities class action filed against a public company and its officers. He also first-chaired a civil arbitration in which Vanzura’s clients succeeded in a dispute involving more than $50 million in alleged damages. He is active in pro bono cases representing low-income tenants and veterans. Vanzura was recognized in the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for his work in securities litigation.
BACKGROUND: Vanzura focuses his practice on securities litigation, complex business litigation, white-collar criminal defense and internal corporate investigations. He has represented Am Law 100 law firms in legal malpractice and related matters and provided neutral-party consultation to mediators in securities matters. Vanzura serves on the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Judicial Elections Evaluation Committee. He has a BA from UCLA and a JD from Stanford Law School.
