Joshua Briones — Mintz

THE LATEST:
Since joining Mintz in 2016, Briones has tripled the size of the firm’s staff and helped Mintz develop expertise on specialty issues such as Covid-19, the Biden administration, and environmental, social and corporate governance. Briones was included on the Business Journal’s 2020 Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Lawyers list. And in 2021, Mintz was named organization of the year at the Business Journal’s Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Awards.
BACKGROUND:
Briones has successfully defended class actions on behalf of Sabre Corp., the Los Angeles Lakers, Cavaliers Operating Co., PayPal Holdings Inc., eBay Inc., CVS Pharmacy, Walmart Inc., Styles for Less Inc., Yelp Inc. and Hendrick Automotive Group. The son of immigrant farm workers from Mexico, Briones today guides an AmLaw 100 firm. He holds a BA from San Diego State, a JD from UCLA and an LLM from NYU.
