THE LATEST: Amid the pandemic, Strickland has counseled clients on creating programs to assist customers facing financial hardship, interpretation and application of public health orders, and defense of litigation against a major financial services company arising from Payment Protection Program loans. Strickland has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in the category of litigation for banking and finance from 2010-2021. She was also on the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers list in 2020.
BACKGROUND: An experienced litigator, Strickland’s clients include JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, TransUnion, Discover, American Express, Citigroup, HSBC, PayPal, BMW Financial Services, Zappos and Synchrony Bank. She has been named one of California’s top women lawyers for 15 consecutive years by the Daily Journal. Strickland received her BA from UC San Diego and a JD from UCLA.
