THE LATEST: In March, Phillips participated as panel moderator for “Women in Leadership: Navigating Through Power Structures, Personal Challenges, and a Pandemic,” part of the Margaret J. Weber Distinguished Lecture Series at Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology. In November, she was named to the Daily Journal’s 2020 list of Top Women Lawyers in California. And in August, Phillips was named one of the Best Lawyers in America in the category of family law.
BACKGROUND: A nationally recognized family law practitioner, Phillips primarily handles high-net-worth and high-profile divorce cases. She has more than 35 years of experience in family law, including complex divorce actions, custody cases, domestic violence matters, same-sex divorce and paternity cases. She is certified as a family law specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Phillips wrote a book titled “Divorce: It’s All About Control.”
