Lynda Resnick — Wonderful Co.
Co-Owner and Vice Chairwoman
THE LATEST:
Resnick oversees worldwide marketing and product development for Wonderful Co. During the pandemic she also focused on employee well-being, setting up an on-site Covid-19 testing labs; providing free primary health care and medicine for some 4,000 workers in the Central Valley; making facemasks free and mandatory; reconfiguring facilities to ensure proper social distancing; and providing 500,000 free grab-and-go meals, which included breakfast and lunch for employees and their families.
BACKGROUND:
At age 19, Resnick dropped out of college and founded an advertising agency, a move that years later led her to her husband and business partner, Stewart Resnick. She has been a major donor to and longtime member of the board of trustees of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Resnick is a Lifetime Trustee of The Aspen Institute. She received honorary doctorate degrees in 2012 from Bard College and in 2021 from Fresno State. In 2020, she ranked No. 6 among Forbes’ “America's Self-Made Women.”
