THE LATEST: In 2020 Saghian’s Fashion Nova entered the beauty space with the launch of Maven Beauty cosmetics line and partnered with Grammy-award winner Megan Thee Stallion on a collection of premium denim, bodysuits, tops and dresses, which sold $1.2 million on its first day. Their collaboration extended to 2021 with a launch of Women on Top, a philanthropic initiative that gave $1 million in grants and scholarships to 37 women-run businesses and organizations. Fashion Nova also pledged $1 million dollars to BLM initiatives.
BACKGROUND: Saghian founded Fashion Nova in 2006. He has built the company into one of the industry’s largest and fastest-growing ecommerce platforms. Saghian describes his company’s specialty as “ultra-fast fashion,” offering affordable, trend-setting clothing and accessories “from concept to consumer within days.” Headquartered in Los Angeles, the company has five brick-and-mortar locations in Southern California.
