THE LATEST: In 2020, HUB International grew overall revenue 13% and local revenue by nearly 7%, despite its concentration of clients in the music and live entertainment industry, which was hit hard by the Covid-19 shutdowns. Earlier this year, HUB chose Forchelli to lead and integrate its Orange County operations into its existing L.A. footprint. The combined region represents more than $1 billion in annualized premiums supported by more than 400 staff. Forchelli also added to his local senior leadership team by hiring David Cloward, former global head of live entertainment for AGC&S, to lead Hub’s local entertainment practice.
BACKGROUND: Forchelli has been with Chicago-based HUB International for seven years. He also leads its national entertainment and sports practice. HUB delivers Fortune 500-level insurance and risk management solutions to its middle-market clients and larger national clients. Forchelli was with Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. and GNW-Evergreen before GNW-Evergreen was acquired by HUB in 2013. He works with the Men’s Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Holidays from the Heart.
