THE LATEST: Barry led the launch of GHJ’s progressive downtown headquarters and a brand refresh to reinforce the firm’s culture, vision and core values. That led the company to change its name from Green Hasson Jenks to GHJ. The firm created the GHJ Foundation, which raises funds through firm contributions and individual contributions of active and retired partners, staff members and alumni. The foundation provides sponsorships for philanthropic events and matching gifts for employee donations. It also makes philanthropic contributions, supports community service days, sponsors community volunteering and more.
BACKGROUND: Barry’s role at GHJ is a combination of entrepreneur, mentor, coach and business adviser. He has nearly 25 years of experience and has pioneered leading industry approaches to innovate for clients and employees. Barry is also treasurer and a member of the executive committee for the Young Presidents’ Organization’s Santa Monica Bay chapter and treasurer for GHJ Foundation.
