THE LATEST: Josh Altman has sold more than $4.5 billion worth of real estate in his career, including $585 million worth of residential sales in 2020, good for No. 6 on the Business Journal’s most recent list of top residential agents by sales volume. He and his brother, Matt, star in Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.”
BACKGROUND: Altman was raised in Massachusetts and attended Syracuse University. He was a kicker for the school’s football teams when they reached the Orange Bowl and Fiesta Bowl. Altman later moved to L.A. and became a real estate agent. His notable sales include the Razor House in La Jolla, which Alicia Keys purchased for nearly $21 million; a Hollywood Hills home sold by DJ Calvin Harris; and a Beverly Hills house once owned by actor Mark Wahlberg.
