THE LATEST: DeMartini oversees Tishman Speyer’s local properties. In 2019, he brought the company’s coworking concept, Studio, to Beverly Hills. The 36,000-square-foot space is managed by Tishman Speyer directly and can hold up to 400 people. It was Studio’s second location nationwide. DeMartini was also involved in the recapitalization of a 635,000-square-foot office complex in Playa Vista and sold the 1.1-million-square-foot Wilshire Courtyard complex in Mid-Wilshire for $630 million.
BACKGROUND: DeMartini joined Tishman Speyer in 2005 and now runs the real estate company’s activities in Southern California. Before joining Tishman Speyer, he worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and as a consultant for Andersen Consulting. DeMartini has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and an MBA from the Wharton School.
