THE LATEST: In the past 15 years, luxury spec home developer Nosrati has purchased, developed and sold more than 70 homes totaling more than 1 million square feet. Over the years, he has added high-end features such as cannabis lounges, karaoke rooms, bowling alleys and BB gun ranges to the properties. Nosrati’s spec homes are built without a specific buyer, but he said many of his homes sell in the early stages.
BACKGROUND: Nosrati was born in Iran and moved to the U.S. at a young age. In 1998, he started a retail wireless business that grew into a national wireless telemarketing company. He sold the business in 2002 and began to invest in real estate, starting with the Inland Empire. He bought ranches, divided the land and built tract homes. He later went on to build custom homes.
