Brian Lee — BAM Ventures

The Latest: Multiple companies in BAM Ventures’ portfolio went public or were acquired in the last year, including streaming service FuboTV Inc., which completed an IPO in October. Podcast producer Wondery sold to Amazon.com Inc., and both esports streamer Mobcrush and pharmacy startup Zipdrug were acquired in deals with undisclosed terms. Lee also launched Aliza Technologies, a startup applying machine learning to animation.
BACKGROUND:
An experienced entrepreneur, Lee has developed multiple influential tech companies, starting with online legal services provider LegalZoom.com Inc., which he co-founded in 2000. Lee also co-founded consumer products company Honest Co. Inc. with Jessica Alba in 2012 and served as chief executive until 2017. He is also a co-founder of ShoeDazzle, a fashion subscription service he started in 2009 with Kim Kardashian. Lee co-founded BAM Ventures with Richard Jun in 2014. He earned both his undergraduate degree and a JD from UCLA.
